Spring Onion Omelette |
- Eggs - 5-6 nos (at room temperature)
- Spring Onion - 6 stalks, finely chopped
- Green chilly, chopped- 3-4 nos (Can be avoided if making for kids)
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder- to taste
- Salt - as required
- Oil - for cooking
- In a wide bowl, add the eggs and whisk well
- Wash the spring onion stalks and trim the roots off, finely chop both the white and green parts and keep it ready
- Add salt and turmeric powder to the beaten egg and whisk until it gets combined
- Add the chopped spring onions and green chillies to it and mix well
- Heat the pan with few drops of oil
- Once it becomes medium hot, pour the egg mixture into it and reduce the flame to medium
- Cover and cook for a minute and then flip it over and cook the other side
- Once done, sprinkle pepper powder transfer to the plate
- Serve hot!
