Spring Onion Omelette

Servings: 2-3 servings

Spring Onion Omelette
Ingredients:
  • Eggs - 5-6 nos (at room temperature)
  • Spring Onion - 6 stalks, finely chopped
  • Green chilly, chopped- 3-4 nos (Can be avoided if making for kids)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder- to taste
  • Salt - as required
  • Oil - for cooking
Method:
  1. In a wide bowl, add the eggs and whisk well
  2. Wash the spring onion stalks and trim the roots off, finely chop both the white and green parts and keep it ready
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder to the beaten egg and whisk until it gets combined
  4. Add the chopped spring onions and green chillies to it and mix well
  5. Heat the pan with few drops of oil
  6. Once it becomes medium hot, pour the egg mixture into it and reduce the flame to medium
  7. Cover and cook for a minute and then flip it over and cook the other side

  8. Once done, sprinkle pepper powder transfer to the plate

  9. Serve hot!
