Ragi Banana Cake |
- Ragi flour - 3/4 cup
- Wheat flour / Atta - 1/4 cup
- Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Banana, ripen - 2 nos
- Curd - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Cardamon seeds/powder- 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Chopped nuts- 1/4 cup (I used walnuts)
- Pre heat oven to 350°F
- Grease the baking pans with oil and sprinkle some rava / cornmeal
- Using blender, beat banana, sugar, oil, cardamon seeds, curd and milk until well combined
- Add both the flours (Ragi & wheat) with baking soda to the wet mixture, stir well
- Fold in the nuts, mix gently and pour into greased pan
- Bake for around 30 to 40 minutes (depend on the size of the pan), or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
- Cool for about 10 minutes in the pan and then remove from pans to cooling rack
- Once it became warm, slice and serve
