Ragi-Wheat Waffles |
Dry Ingredients:
- Wheat flour/ Atta - 1/2 cup
- Ragi Flour - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Milk, Warm - 1 cup
- Eggs - 2 nos
- Melted Butter or Olive Oil -1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Vanilla extract - few drops
- Oil / Butter - for greasing
- Honey or Maple Syrup
- Fresh fruits (Optional)
- Add the dry ingredients in a wide bowl and mix well with whisk
- In a bowl, add the ggs and beat well until frothy, then add the remaining items in the wet ingredients list and beat well
- Add the wet mixture into the flour mix and mix well using whisk
- Heat the waffle pan / iron in medium heat, grease it with oil / butter and pour the batter into it
- Once the top side gets cooked, flip it over and allow to cook on the other side
- Once done, transfer to plate and serve hot with honey & fresh fruit slices
